Duration: 2 days
Location: varied, delivered on location
Faculty: registered emergency medical practitioners and rope rescue specialists
Price: £600 including VAT
The course closes the gap between technical rigging skill and clinical intervention. Rather than treating access and casualty care as separate disciplines, delegates learn to manage both at once, treating a casualty while suspended or working in confined and restricted access terrain.
Training covers the full sequence from initial access through to extraction, including pick offs, hauling systems and patient packaging, all while maintaining continuous medical care on site. The programme also builds the coordination and communication skills needed to run a multi team response and hand over cleanly to professional emergency services.
