OUR TRAINING

B2H delivers Rescue 3 Europe certified training in two strands. Our civilian courses are for emergency responders and rope rescue teams, industry working at height, and film and TV production crew. Our tactical courses are an alternative strand for military, government and police rope teams, delivered in partnership with Alford Technologies.

OUR COURSE PATHWAY

Our civilian courses take learners from their first day working at height through to advanced rope rescue. Each level builds on previous learning, so individuals and teams can start at the correct entry level and progress with confidence through the learning pathways. The tactical and civilian courses are supported by Capita through the Alford Technologies and B2H partnership.

Alongside the core pathway, we offer specialist courses in Confined Space Awareness, Confined Space Entry and Rescue (low, medium and high risk), Technical Rescue and Casualty Care, Maritime Climb Safety Operator (MCSO) and SKYLOTEC powered ascender operation. Every course is practical and scenario-based, and can be tailored to your team's workplace and the risks they face.

Level 1: Awareness

Work at Height Awareness (WAHA) Safe Working at Height (SWAH) and Safe Working at Height for Production Crew (SWAHPC). Understanding the risks, the legislation, personal equipment and simple safe systems of work.

Level 2: Operator

Co-Worker Rescue at Height (CWRH) and Rope Rescue Operator (RRO). Edge transitions, stretcher handling and team-based raising and lowering systems.

Level 3: Technician and Specialist

Rope Rescue Technician (RRT) and Rope Rescue Specialist (RRS). Complex rigging, high directionals, highlines and problem solving in demanding environments.

Co-Worker Rescue at Height (CWRH)
£365.00

Everyone who works at height may be faced with a colleague who has fallen and is hanging helplessly in their fall protection system. The Co-Worker Rescue at Height (CWRH) course teaches participants to deal with that situation. Using simple techniques and industry standard equipment, you will learn how you can free a colleague from a dangerous situation after they have dropped into their fall arrest system.

The rapid release of this trapped person must be your highest priority, to prevent further injury. In accordance with the law on working conditions and the consequent duty of care, an employer is required to prepare employees for this possible scenario. Generally, with a few simple tools, this problem can easily be solved.
